Shipping and returns


Depending on which shipment method you chose you will receive your order the next day if you placed your order before 17:00 and all items are in stock at our main warehouse (with the exception of mistakes in the stock system). See below for the details of the different shipping methods. At the moment we can only ship frozen and refrigerated items within the Netherlands (with the exception of the Waddeneilanden).


PostNL Food

Please be mindful, PostNL Food is not the same as PostNL Pakketten. PostNL Food is a delivery service specialised in the delivery of frozen en refrigerated products. PostNL Food delivers for us in the evening. Wij will deliver your order to the PostNL Food depot in the morning, after which they will deliver it between 17:00 en 22:00 at your house. Orders that are delivered with PostNL Food can not be delivered the next day if no one was there to accept the delivery on the planned delivery day. So it is important for someone to be present at the time of the planned delivery day. We offer free shipping with PostNL Food for orders above €65,-. Orders that can not be delivered will be returned to us the next day or the day thereafter, after which you can pick it up at our main warehouse location or you can request a second delivery for your order which will bring with it an additional shipping fee of at least €13,50. We deliver with PostNL Food on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. PostNL Food is the only shipping method for orders with frozen and refrigerated products.

DHL Parcel (within the Netherlands)

For shipments without frozen or refrigerated items DHL Parcel (not DHL Express) can be chosen as shipment method. DHL Parcel normally delivers between 09:00 and 18:00. When you are not home to accept the delivery they will attempt a second delivery the next working day or leave it at the nearest DHL Service Point where you will have 7 days time to pick it up. DHL Parcel delivers on all days except Sunday. We offer free shipping with DHL Parcel within the Netherlands for orders above €35,-. Deliveries to the Waddeneilanden will have a surcharge of €5,- (free above €80,-).

DHL Parcel (other countries)

For shipments without frozen or refrigerated items DHL Parcel (not DHL Express) can be chosen as shipment method. A remote area surcharge of €17,50 may be added to the shipment cost for certain remote destinations. DHL Parcel will not deliver to the door in some areas, your order will then be delivered to a ServicePoint for pick up.

If you are not satisfied with one of the products, you can always send it back to us (at your own expense) or return it to our shop or warehouse, as long as the expiry date will permit this. Before returning goods, please notify us by email at within 8 days of receiving your order. Frozen and fresh products have to be returned at the right temperatures (5°C for refrigerated and -18°C frozen products). When returning the goods at one of our locations you can do so at the below addresses:
